I must admit that I was not a fanatic follower of Malaysian politics, I like the idea of being a mere casual observant I guess, but somehow this Ijok by-election really catches my attention.
Do not get the wrong idea of me lining up in support of the opposition party by looking at this picture anyway. Again, I state here that I am only an observant. I judge this picture from a balanced perspective, that those people in the snapshot are human beings after all. Perhaps there were also some from the opposition party displaying the same shameful act that I simply missed out.
And yes, I stress it again. This kind of act is plain shameful.

The recent Ijok by-election has not only showed a clear indication of stupidity of a group of people called stupid Malaysian politic maniacs, though of more concern for the majority of Malaysians is the bleak prospect the future holds with leaders with stupid followers like these at the helm.
The worry is not so much for ourselves but more for our children who have to be brought up in such a divisive and discriminative environment with little prospect for meritocracy and respect. When other countries are making time for accelerating their pace of development, whe choose not to. There is not much talk of nation-building and after all the trials and tribulations that we have faced , there is still talk of bloodletting among ourselves and we are always finding ways to fight among ourselves. No wonder many want to emigrate and get the hell out of this country.
Before we get carried away and book that flight though, recognise that what transpired at the Ijok by-election was mostly rhetoric from empty barrels. All this stupid wwe-like fight at the end of the day is counterproductive and retrogressive, and made a laughing stock for cnn, bloomberg and maybe al-jazeera.
These people shouldn't be allowed to determine our future. For many of us who have grown up and lived all things Malaysian like me, I just feel the need of me to get there and slap those bodoh followers and cut their dick into pieces. fuck.
i might u can get more embarass than i do as u are staying overseas.
politics in malaysia is like a playground for naughty kids. why i say naughty is because even normal kids can behave better than our politicians if we were to contest thenm for elections.
if only our main stream media would put this in their report, but i doubt they never will. i dont care what the opposition party did during their campaigns and i certainly dont care what BN is doing. but all the media is focusing is on the dirty tactics of the opp.
i mean, be intellectual and proffesional. instead of focusing on 'campaign methods' for the issue of campaigns, why not focus on the issues per say. the issues that they're bringing up to develop ijok and for the benefits of the voters.
suddenly all the changes will come to ijok. promises are being made just for election sake. if that happens for every election, can we please have more elections like this in undeveloped areas.
btw, i never even heard of ijok before this 'popularised' election. guess that makes me a lousy msian.
eehh.. malu!
i wasnt intending to touch on anything political when posting this entry, but since the two of you have already jumped into this raging discussion, i guess why not me too.
i reckon when 19-year-old like us can argue and see transparently through this matter to such extent- and i bet there're plenty of other people, bloggers alike who also can-, it does indicate only one thing; that the seriousness of the issue has gone beyond the line.
Ijok? Sarikei lagi Femes!!!
